Hibernation series

In my area of Hokkaido, snow usually settles in the middle of December and never completely melts before the middle of April. The area is literally buried in snow for almost four months. Farm houses get surrounded by huge snow piles, and very few people walk around the streets especially at night. It looks like the whole area is in hibernation, reducing its metabolic rate and waiting for the warm spring to come. I am always so fascinated to see how drastically snow can transform the scenery and how deeply it can affect people's minds. Therefore, I decided to record my town and the surrounding areas in winter, and to call this series "Hibernation".
